AVERY Calls out Bettman

I don’t like Avery but I agree with him.Anybody can market the game better then Bettman.Most people don’t even know hockey has started in the usa and don’t even know what channel to find it on.Espn radio hasn’t had anything about hockey on.Very few stations if any are talking about it on American sports talk radio.I walked into a store yeasterday no NHL gear to be found in sports stores.Well that’s because  Reebok focuses on the NFL not the NHL.Maybe get puma or adidas someone that isn’t so focused on football to get merchandise into the fans hands.

NHL GameCenter wants to rip you off

GameCenter Live will also boast a special highlight each night, where one game will be rigged with six extra camera angles, including goalie cams. For the fans who don’t want to dish out the big dollars for Gamecenter Live, a scaled-down version, simply known as Gamecenter, is free to any fan. It will include home and away radio broadcasts,fan chat,game highlights, Action Tracker- which provides vital stats such as shots, goals and penalties.

Sounds great.How come the price is $169 the NHL right now gets less hits then any major league sport.$120 to watch MLB.But hockey fans have to pay $169.Vs games should be free on the net ratings are horrible on that station.The price for GameCenter should be at least under 100.After you have a lockout what you should do is make the fans happy it’s kind of the way you do things in sports.The NFL can do whatever they want becuase their fanbase is so big the NHL Can’t they have to learn to baby their fans.

- Dance sneakers or dance shoes.

I have been to Boon North Carolina a couple of times.It’s in the midde of nowhere.But only 82 percent said they know that they had a hocke team.18 percent have no idea a team was in the state they live in.Thats not good.Who are these people you won a Stanley cup.It’s a big dea.
